Starting October 2025, millions of PCs worldwide will lose support and stop receiving security updates. As businesses rush to upgrade to Windows 11 or replace aging machines, many perfectly functional computers risk being discarded — sent to recycling centers, or worse, the landfill.
But there’s a better option.
Falcon IT Services has partnered with Educate Tomorrow, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to provide vital technology resources to financially challenged high school and college students. For over 22 years, Educate Tomorrow has helped young people from foster care and homeless backgrounds build brighter futures through education, career support, and stable housing.
Through this partnership, your old computers can help transform lives.
Falcon IT Services will:
- Pick up your used desktops, laptops, and monitors
- Securely wipe all data and provide a certificate of data destruction
- Install a Linux Desktop operating system and LibreOffice, a full-featured open-source productivity suite
This setup ensures the hardware remains secure and useful for years to come. The refurbished devices will be distributed at no cost to students enrolled at Miami Dade College and other local institutions, giving them the tools to succeed in school, connect with peers, and build vital digital skills.
