Falcon IT Services provides several layers of endpoint security as part of our endpoint management.
Web Content Filtering is the practice of blocking access to web content that may be deemed offensive, inappropriate, or even dangerous. One of the most fundamental actions that any organization can take is to block access to known malicious sites, known compromised sites, phishing URL’s, Web proxies and Web sites that are known conduits for malware. Falcon IT Services can provide Web content filtering at the gateway and endpoint level. This means that protection continues even if the devices is taken off-site and connected to another network. Some content filters can be easily bypassed and there are no shortage of Web tutorials on how to do it. For this reason, we provide enterprise grade Web content filtering systems in combination with device access controls to make bypassing the Web filter nearly impossible.
Device whitelisting allows only authorized (trusted) devices to connect to the local area network. Forcing non-trusted devices into a DMZ (demilitarized zone) prevents unauthorized users from accessing the network and possibly infecting PC’s, servers and other network devices.
