Please beware of fake Zoom Web sites which lure you into downloading a fake Zoom applet in order to hack into your computer. According to The Register, a criminal gang has created several fake Zoom Web sites which look like the real site and which aim to download Vidar trojan horse, disguised as a Zoom applet.
Make sure you do not follow links from unexpected Zoom invites via e-mail. Always check the URL to make sure that the domain name zoom.com is in boldface so that you know you are on the real site.
