In this example, we are going to grant DHCP admin access to a PFY operator-in-training without granting him/her access to the server’s other administrative functions.
Open the ADDS MMC and make the user a member of the DHCP administrators group.
From a separate management Windows PC (must be a PRO version, not a home version) where the operator can log in, install the Windows RSAT tools.
After the RSAT DHCP component is installed, log in as the operator and open the DHCP MMC. Navigate to action->add server.
Add the DHCP server to the MMC.
The operator can now managed DHCP from the Windows desktop PC.
